Gráinne stems from a background of a variety of genres with musical experience a plenty. She is a Clare native fiddle player and professional singer-songwriter who accredits her powerful lyrics to her Parisian adventures. Having derived from an Irish music Family she was very surprised to discover a love of Jazz and song composition in University, and was given the opportunity to study in Berklee College Boston for a summer.

Having returned to Ireland from a summer in Paris, Gráinne moved to the culture hub of Galway and set up a talented group who then assisted her in her ambition of creating an album of her work. Following her release of her new Album TIDES she has been added to the RTÉ 1 recommended playlist and has been played by presenters such as John Creedon, Ronan Collins and Lillian Smith.

She looks forward to her next gig in Whelans on February 28th and performing in Europe this summer.

Gráinne released her album Tides in September 2017 to good reviews "It's clear to see that there is no shortage of female talent in Ireland"- John Creedon. Since then several of her songs has been added to the RTÉ playlist such as "Compromise" and " Night of the Friar Weiss" and have been played on programmes such as Ronan Collins, John Creedon, Marty Whelan and Lilian Smith but to name a few.

She has also performed live on programmes such as Pat Kenny (Newstalk) and Sean O' Rourke (RTÉ 1).
